While creating Animal, the author kept an illustrated journal. Now a three-book set, it contains deeply personal content and isn’t ideal for public sale at this time—which is why it’s listed at a price no sane person would pay. It'll probably be cheaper in 100 years, if not, free.  Tell your grandkids (or your friend's grandkids)!
